NMGRA President , Craze, would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and start to 2010.  Craze would also like to remind everyone that the 19th Annual Zia Regional Rodeo is coming to Albuquerque July 23-25.  This is earlier than previous years so make sure to mark your calendars!!  More information will be posted soon regarding the 19th Annual Zia Regional Rodeo, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the Rodeo!!

The 5th Annual Sunshine Stampede was held April 17-18 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  NMGRA competitor Brian Helander traveled to Florida and came home with the Championship Buckle in Chute Dogging.  Brian also placed both days in Steer Decorating and Goat Dressing.

NMGRA started the 2010 IGRA rodeo season with a bang by winning the team competition at the Road Runner Regional Rodeo in Phoenix.  NMGRA competitors placed in many events and placed often to rack up almost 2200 points for the team competition title.  Renita E. won the All-Around Cowgirl buckle, with Craze and Bernice R finishing third and fourth.  Will L. came in second in the All-Around Cowboy competition.  Highlighted below are those competitors who won buckles for the weekend.  To see all the placings for the weekend, visit igra.com and select rodeo results.
